An Evening for Sheba
A black-tie gala on the Côte d’Azur, held under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, in aid of the children of the Edmond & Lily Safra Children’s Hospital. An evening of dinner, music and a silent auction, raising vital support for young patients healing from the trauma of war.
Why we are here
Healing the wounds you cannot see
Sheba Medical Center is the largest hospital in Israel and the Middle East, and a “Hospital of Peace” whose doors stay open to everyone in need — Jewish or Muslim, Israeli or Palestinian, civilian or refugee. At its Edmond & Lily Safra Children’s Hospital, around 40% of young patients come from Gaza, the Palestinian Authority and neighbouring countries, and no child in urgent need is ever turned away.
Since the events of recent years, children across the region have been living with the trauma of sustained fear and loss. Tonight is for them: to help these young patients and their families heal, both the physical and the emotional scars, through trauma therapy, art and music therapy, medical support dogs, and the everyday care that gives a frightened child a way back to hope.
Every euro raised this evening is donated in full to the children of the Safra Children’s Hospital. A tax-deductible certificate is available for donations.

How does the silent auction work?
Every lot is open for bidding from your phone throughout the evening. Browse the catalogue, place a bid in a tap, and you will be notified if you are outbid. Bidding closes towards the end of the evening, and the highest bid on each lot wins.
How do I pay if I win?
Winning bidders and appeal sponsors settle within ten days by bank transfer to Friends of Sheba Medical Center. The account details and your order reference are shown on your confirmation. Auction proceeds are donated 100%, and a tax-deductible certificate is available for donations.
